I like to take the reference pictures for my paintings. Sometimes it just adds to the layers of the piece. This particular photo I took while picking up my daughter from ballet practice. 

This painting to me serves as a reminder when my daddy taxi duties were on level 10! No more ballet practice. Although I was driving all over the city during rush hour, I definitely miss that daddy daughter car time.
