While I was growing up, my father owned a small dental technician business on 21st/Mission. This was in the early 80’s. Going with him to work and being in the Mission as a young kid is part of my SF experience. Seeing people from ALL types of backgrounds and nationalities and hearing different languages as you walked down the street.
